Anuppur, Oct 27: A rare instance of python-on-python predation left agricultural workers astonished in Patparha Tola of Jamudi village in Madhya Pradesh’s Anuppur district, where a 10-foot-long python was seen swallowing another python measuring around eight feet.

The incident took place in a flooded paddy field while farm labourers were engaged in routine agricultural work. The unusual sight attracted attention as the larger python swallowed the smaller snake.

Following the incident, the farm owner alerted local wildlife officials and snake rescue personnel to ensure the reptiles were handled safely.
