Sharvari reveals her reaction to A. R. Rahman’s text on her phone

Mumbai, June 27 (IANS) Bollywood actress Sharvari, who is receiving a lot of positive response for her work in the recently released film ‘Main Vapas Aaunga’, has shared that she once received a message from the Grammy and Oscar-winning music composer A. R. Rahman, and she fan girled so hard that she ended sending him an essay on text.

The actress spoke with IANS during the promotions of the film along with her co-actor Vedang Raina and auteur Imtiaz Ali.

When asked that having a film with collaborators as Imtiaz Ali, A.R. Rahman, Diljit Dosanjh, Irshad Kamil, on her resume so early in her career, how does it empower her as an artiste, she said, “The names that you just took. When someone says it like that. It just suddenly feels like wow. We were a part of a film that has all these legends. And I really hope that whatever hard work we’ve put in. We’ve done justice not just to the audiences”.

She further mentioned, “But to everybody’s vision here, being so new, and learning more from the others at this point, I feel like we really have tried to do our best. Be as honest as we could have. But saying that it’s so exciting. That we in fact got so empowered by them in the film. I was telling Imtiaz sir just recently that Rahman sir sent me a message the other day. He said that he really enjoyed scoring the scenes. I was so shocked that I got this message in the first place. I sent him an essay about what a big fan I am”.

“But the fact that it didn’t hit me till then. That Rahman sir would score our film. I was just in shock. So I’m very excited to watch the film as a viewer because I feel that the film has such a beautiful emotion of love and longing. Those are the emotions that we all go through. At different stages of our lives. And I really hope that this resonates with every age group. In some way or the other”, she added.
