Raj BJP chief, CM welcome Ajaey Kumar’s appointment as party’s general secy (Organisation) in state

Jaipur, June 1 (IANS) Senior leaders, including Rajasthan BJP President Madan Rathore and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, have welcomed the appointment of former Uttarakhand BJP State General Secretary (Organisation) Ajaey Kumar as the party’s General Secretary (Organisation) in the state by the central leadership.

Congratulating Ajaey Kumar, Rajasthan BJP chief Rathore said his vast organisational experience, dedication towards party workers, and capable leadership would infuse new energy and strength into the organisation.

He expressed confidence that under Ajaey Kumar’s guidance, the state unit would scale new heights and that efforts related to organisational expansion and public service would gain renewed momentum.

Rathore described Ajaey Kumar as a seasoned and highly skilled organiser with extensive experience in both ideological and organisational work.

He noted that Ajaey Kumar began his public life in 1997 as an RSS Pracharak in Srinagar (Garhwal) and subsequently held several key responsibilities within the Sangh and BJP.

Over the years, Ajaey Kumar served as Nagar Pracharak in Srinagar, Haridwar, and Haldwani; Zila Pracharak in Udham Singh Nagar; and Vibhag Pracharak for the Almora division. He later strengthened organisational work in Western Uttar Pradesh as Vibhag Pracharak for the Moradabad and Bijnor divisions.

Rathore further said that Ajaey Kumar later served as Prant Bauddhik Shikshan Pramukh for the Meerut province, providing ideological guidance and training to party workers.

In 2018, he was appointed BJP Regional General Secretary (Organisation) for Western Uttar Pradesh, and since 2019 he has played a pivotal role as Uttarakhand BJP State General Secretary (Organisation).

According to Rathore, under Ajaey Kumar’s leadership in Uttarakhand, the BJP organisation achieved significant progress in discipline, cadre expansion, membership campaigns, training programs, and implementation of national campaigns.

His efforts to strengthen booth-level structures, improve coordination between the organisation and the government, and expand party activities into remote regions earned widespread appreciation.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also congratulated Ajaey Kumar, describing his appointment in a politically significant state like Rajasthan as recognition at the national level of his organisational ability, leadership skills, and result-oriented work.

The Chief Minister said the decision reflected the BJP leadership’s belief that experienced and capable organisers are essential to providing fresh direction and renewed energy to the party.

He expressed confidence that under Ajaey Kumar’s guidance, the Rajasthan BJP organisation would become more robust, dynamic, and people-centric, while effectively meeting upcoming political and organisational challenges.

Bhajanlal Sharma extended his best wishes for a successful and distinguished tenure, stating that Ajaey Kumar’s professional efficiency and extensive organisational experience would further strengthen the state unit and energise the BJP’s ideological outreach, organisational expansion, and commitment to public service.

Several BJP office-bearers and party workers also welcomed the appointment.
