New Delhi Nov 01: Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Gyanesh Kumar, accusing them of attempting to suppress the voice of the country.
Addressing the issue, Rahul Gandhi alleged that Gyanesh Kumar was under pressure over his actions and claimed that the Election Commission’s conduct had undermined democratic rights.
“Gyanesh Kumar is unable to sleep at night… He has tried to silence the soul and voice of the country,” Rahul Gandhi said, accusing him of committing what he described as a grave crime against the nation.
He further claimed that neither Prime Minister Modi nor Amit Shah could sleep peacefully over the matter.
The remarks reflect the Congress leader’s continuing criticism of the government and the Election Commission over alleged electoral irregularities.
The allegations were part of Rahul Gandhi’s political attack, and the claims were not independently established in the statement.
