Langar Houz Rajaka Sangam Seeks Protection of Traditional Dhobi Ghat Land; Owaisi Assures Support

Hyderabad Nov 05: A delegation of the Rajaka Sangam from Langar Houz met here Thursday AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi, alleging encroachment on their decades-old Dhobi Ghat land and demolition of portions of the property without prior notice.

The delegation also claimed that several cases had been registered against members of the community over the past 14 years. They urged the MP to intervene and secure permanent land rights, protect their traditional livelihood and provide employment opportunities for local youth.

However, Asaduddin Owaisi has assured the delegation of his support and issued a representation to the Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO), requesting appropriate action to address their grievances. Karwan Constituency MLA Kausar Mohiuddin and others were present in the delegation.
