Patna, Aug 25 (IANS) A woman has approached Pirbahore police station in Patna alleging harassment and threats, and has sought police protection while naming Khan Sir in her complaint.
According to her statement, her roommate Sabina Khatoon was allegedly in a relationship with Khan Sir.
She claimed he frequently visited their room in 2017, despite her objections, and that the situation continued for around six months, leading to repeated arguments and police intervention.
The complainant further alleged that attempts were made to harm her and said a police officer from her family intervened and reprimanded Khan Sir, following which he apologised and stopped troubling her for some time.
However, she claimed he continues to make inquiries about her whereabouts and residence.
She also alleged that calls were made to her relatives, sometimes with the caller claiming to be from Sultanganj police station.
The woman said she feared for her safety because she claimed to know information about Khan Sir, including allegations of serious criminal activity, such as involvement in the killing of Roshan’s brother. These allegations are the complainant’s claims and have not been independently verified.
The complainant further alleged that Faizan Khan had taken Rs 4,500 belonging to her and questioned Khan Sir’s public image of helping poor people in light of the alleged incident.
She said she had formally submitted her complaint to Pirbahore police station and that police officials assured her of protection. She was reportedly given a contact number and told to contact the police station immediately if she faced any problem.
Police officials said the allegations contained in the complaint would need to be verified through investigation.
