Hyderabad Oct 27: AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi has urged eligible graduates to enrol their names on the electoral rolls for the forthcoming Graduate Constituency elections to the Telangana Legislative Council.
Owaisi appealed to graduates to complete the voter-registration process and ensure their participation in the upcoming elections. The enrolment drive is underway for the Hyderabad–Rangareddy–Mahabubnagar and Warangal–Khammam–Nalgonda Graduates’ constituencies.
According to the election schedule, eligible graduates must submit Form 18 by November 6, 2026. Fresh registration is mandatory, including for those whose names appeared on previous graduates’ electoral rolls.
The qualifying date is November 1, 2026, and applicants must have obtained their degree or an equivalent qualification by October 31, 2023, besides meeting the other eligibility requirements.
The Graduate MLC elections are expected to be held in early 2027, as the terms of the sitting members from the two constituencies end in March.
Eligible graduates can submit their applications online through the Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana, website, or through the designated electoral registration authorities.
