Divyenndu reveals his Instagram ID was created by Shraddha Kapoor

Mumbai, Sep 10 (IANS) Actor Divyenndu revealed that actress Shraddha Kapoor created his ID on Instagram during the shoot of the 2018 film “Batti Gul Meter Chalu” and opened up about the reason behind changing the spelling of his name and his belief in the science of balancing energies.

Divyenndu appeared in the Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s show Double Date, where he disclosed why he decided to make the change and how strongly he believes in being in sync with the energies around him.

Divyenndu shared, “I got to know Yeh mera naam hai aur mujhe sync mein rehna hai energies ke saath. Toh koi cheez agar mujhe energies ke saath sync mein laayegi, toh main uski baat maanunga. (This is my name, and I want to stay in sync with the energies. So, if something helps me align with those energies, I will follow it.)”

Neha asked Divyenndu whether he had also changed the spelling of his name across his social media and email IDs.

Divyenndu revealed that his Instagram account was actually created by Shraddha Kapoor while they were working together on Batti Gul Meter Chalu.

He said, “Mera Insta banaya tha Shraddha Kapoor ne jab humne Batti Gul Meter Chalu kari thi. Pyaar Ka Punchnama aur Chashme Baddoor kar chuka tha main usse pehle, lekin main Instagram pe nahi tha.”

“(Shraddha Kapoor created my Instagram account when we started working on Batti Gul Meter Chalu. I had already done Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Chashme Baddoor before that, but I wasn’t on Instagram.)”

The actor also shared a fun anecdote about his Twitter account, revealing that veteran actor Anupam Kher was behind its creation.

“Aur mera Twitter Kher sahab, Anupam Kher ji ne banaya tha. Humne film banayi thi 21 Topon Ki Salaami. Toh unhone kuch karke mera account banaya tha”

“(And my Twitter account was created by Kher sahab, Anupam Kher ji. We had made a film called 21 Topon Ki Salaami, and he did something to get my account created,)” he said.
