Delhi Nov 06: Railway stations and trains across the country are witnessing heavy rush as thousands of passengers travel to their hometowns to celebrate festivals with family members. Platforms are overcrowded, with passengers struggling even to find space to stand.
Trains are also packed beyond capacity, causing severe inconvenience and hardship to travellers. Many passengers are undertaking difficult journeys in the hope of reaching home in time for the celebrations.
Amid the growing rush, passengers have urged the Railway Department to introduce additional trains, improve crowd management and make advance arrangements to ensure safe, comfortable and dignified festival travel for everyone.
