Hyderabad | Objections Raised During Congress Leader Feroz Khan’s Visit to Jagdish Market

Hyderabad, Oct 31: Objections were raised during the visit of Congress leader Feroz Khan to Jagdish Market in Abids on Saturday, where he inspected the ongoing road construction work.
Some traders expressed their displeasure, claiming that the road works had been initiated following a representation by AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi. They said traders had been facing considerable inconvenience due to the poor condition of the road and that repeated requests to the authorities had failed to yield results.
One of the traders told the Congress leaders that despite several representations, no action had been taken until they approached Asaduddin Owaisi. Following his intervention, the road construction work was finally taken up, the trader claimed.
However, Congress leaders maintained that efforts had also been made from their side to ensure the laying of new roads in the market and highlighted their role in addressing the civic issue.
