Chemical Blast at Katedan Bottle Manufacturing Unit; Two Workers Injured, One Critical

Hyderabad Oct 27: Two workers were injured in a chemical blast at a bottle manufacturing unit in Katedan, Hyderabad, with one of them reportedly in critical condition.

CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, showing two workers busy with their work when they suddenly noticed a bottle. One of the workers touched it, and it exploded moments later, leaving him seriously injured. The other worker managed to move away from the spot and sustained minor injuries.

One of the injured persons, identified as Sai, suffered severe injuries to his face and reportedly lost a portion of his foot in the blast. His condition is said to be critical.

Both injured workers were shifted to Osmania General Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident. The exact cause of the explosion is yet to be established.
