CM Patel inaugurates Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference, trade exhibition in Vadodara

Vadodara, June 29 (IANS) Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Monday inaugurated a comprehensive trade show and exhibition alongside the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) for Central Gujarat, showcasing products and entrepreneurial initiatives from across the state as part of efforts to strengthen links between local industries and global markets.

The exhibition, organised at the conference venue in Vadodara, forms a key component of the two-day regional investment event attended by Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, diplomats, investors, industry leaders and government officials.

The exhibition features dedicated pavilions for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), startups, women artisans and tribal entrepreneurs, highlighting Gujarat’s industrial capabilities alongside traditional crafts and innovation-led enterprises.

Sharing details after inaugurating the exhibition, Chief Minister Patel said it was encouraging to witness the diversity of talent and entrepreneurship represented at the venue.

“It was inspiring to witness the incredible range of talent on display, from the forward-thinking solutions in the MSME and startup pavilions to the exquisite craftsmanship in the Women Artisans and Tribal Hatt sections,” he said.

He added that the exhibition was intended to provide businesses and entrepreneurs with greater opportunities to expand their reach.

“These exhibitions serve as powerful platforms for local industries to showcase their prowess and connect with global markets, further fuelling our state’s industrial excellence,” CM Patel said.

The trade show brings together enterprises from a wide range of sectors, complementing the conference’s focus on investment promotion, industrial development and international partnerships.

Alongside manufacturing and technology-based exhibitors, the exhibition provides space for women entrepreneurs, artisan groups and tribal communities to present their products before domestic and international visitors.

Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, who attended the inaugural session with the Chief Minister and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, described the event as an important part of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for Central Gujarat.

The exhibition has been organised alongside the conference to facilitate interactions between businesses, investors and policymakers while highlighting Gujarat’s manufacturing strengths, innovation ecosystem and traditional industries.

Officials said it is expected to help local enterprises explore new business partnerships and expand their presence in national and international markets as the state continues its efforts to attract investment and promote balanced regional industrial development.
