Very sad, painful incident: Political leaders express grief over demise of Prateek Yadav

Ayodhya, May 13 (IANS) Political leaders across party lines on Wednesday expressed deep grief over the demise of Prateek Yadav, son of late Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of BJP leader Aparna Yadav, calling it a sad and painful incident.

Speaking to IANS, Samajwadi Party MP Awadhesh Prasad said, “We received the information early in the morning that Prateek Yadav is no more. It was hard to believe. This is a very sad and painful incident.”

Samajwadi Party spokesperson Fakhrul Hasan Chand said, “It is a very sad incident. Akhilesh Yadav has arrived at the post-mortem house. We first heard about this through the media around 6 A.M. It is deeply saddening. We are all present at the post-mortem house, and I have nothing more to add at this moment.”

Uttar Pradesh Minister, Danish Azad Ansari, expressed condolences and said, “It is very sad news. Our beloved Prateek Yadav is no longer among us. May his soul rest in peace. In this difficult time, we stand in solidarity with his family and share their grief.”

Another Uttar Pradesh Minister, Narendra Kumar Kashyap, said, “The death of Prateek Yadav is deeply saddening. I extend my condolences to his family and loved ones. The passing of a good person is always painful, and we are saddened that such a sudden death has occurred. It is a tragic incident.”

Uttar Pradesh Minister Anil Rajbhar said, “We are all shocked. May God give the family the strength to bear this huge tragedy and immense sorrow. May the departed soul find a place at His feet.”

Bihar Minister Ram Kripal Yadav said, “Aparna Yadav’s husband passed away suddenly, and we are all deeply saddened. We pay our condolences and tributes. As for the reasons behind it, I do not know. His sudden death is now a matter of investigation.”

BJP Bihar President Sanjay Saraogi also expressed grief and said, “He passed away unexpectedly. I came to know about it through the media. In this difficult time, I extend my condolences to the bereaved family and stand with them. The sudden death of a young and promising individual is deeply unfortunate.”

Congress MP Manoj Kumar said he was shocked by the news. “Mulayam Singh Yadav was a respected socialist and secular leader with millions of followers. In the current political scenario, Akhilesh Yadav is leading the INDIA alliance in Uttar Pradesh, which is significant for us. In such a situation, the death of his younger brother is extremely sad. I was shocked this morning when I heard the news. Prateek Yadav appeared to be a strong individual, and I am still trying to understand how this happened,” he said.
