Teachers are representatives of culture: Dr Ghouse

Hyderabad, Oct 19: Dr Mohammed Ghouse,  Director Secretary of Urdu Academy said that teachers are the representatives of a Culture and as such their responsibility is further enhanced.

Speaking at the five-day online Workshop for Urdu Medium Teachers of Telangana from Monday, organized by  Centre for Professional Development of Urdu Medium Teachers (CPDUMT) of Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) in collaboration with Telangana State Urdu Academy (TSUA), Dr Ghouse said that the use of technology is very important in the 21st century.

It is pertinent to aware the students as well as parents about the challenges of the future.

In his presidential address, Prof SM Rahmatullah, Vice-Chancellor I/c  said it is very important for teachers to acquire professional skills and they should attend such professional courses from time to time to enhance their skills and to add a sense of accountability.

Prof  Siddiqui Mohd. Mahmood, Registrar I/c & Guest of Honour pointed out that time is changing very fast and we have to adapt to the changes, especially be familiar with computers and the internet. The National Education Policy is an invitation to all teachers so that we can update ourselves in light of the new policy and solve the problems in the field of education. If we want to develop our country, we have to update ourselves, he added.

More than 600 teachers from Telangana are participating in the workshop.
