MLC Bypoll: Nizamabad Collector inspects counting centre

Nizamabad, Oct 10: Election Observer M Veerabrahmaiah and Nizamabad district Collector C. Narayana Reddy on Saturday scrutinized the arrangements at the Counting Center of the Joint District Local Bodies MLC by-elections.

The Election Observer and the Collector alongwith Presiding Officers, Sectoral Officers and Micro Observers scrutinized the process of scooting set up at the Counting Center of the Polytechnic College as per the directions of the Election Commission.

Election Observer M Veerabrahmaiah reviewed the arrangements for the counting and made several suggestions. He informed that the counting will begin at 8am on October 12, with polling agents expected to be present an hour earlier, at 7am.

District Collector Narayana Reddy said that all the officers, staff, agents, etc. participating in the counting should come through the gate opposite the women’s college and only students and college staff would be allowed through the main gate as the examinations are being held for polytechnic students.

Additional Collector Chandrasekhar, RDO Ravi, AO Sudarshan and others were also present.
