Andhra Dy. Chief Minister Amjad Basha accorded grand welcome in Kadapa

Kadapa, June 12: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Kadapa MLA SB. Amjad Basha was accorded a grand welcome on Wednesday by Kadapa Dist. Collector C. Hari Kiran, Joint Collector P. Koteswar Rao, Addl. Joint Collector P. Siva Reddy and YSRCP leaders on his first visit to the city after assuming office.

A large number of leaders from the party had come to welcome Amjad Basha at Kadapa Airport, from where a procession was taken out to the Officers Guest House. Later the Dy. Chief Minister was felicitated by senior YSRCP leaders at the Party office.

Amjad Basha paid obeisance at Ameenpeer Dargah, a Sufi shrine located in the Kadapa City. He was accorded traditional welcome by the Dargah representatives. Later Basha paid floral tributes to the former chief minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy at his tomb at Idupulapaya.

First Muslim Dy. Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Amjad Basha thanked the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for reposing faith in him and promise to fasten the Steel Factory works, Re-starting of Chennur Sugar factory, and Proddatur Milk factory.

The newly elected Dy. Chief Minister was accompanied by his brothers Ahmed Basha, Azmath Basha, Asif Basha, and Azmathullah. Ex-Minister Dr.khaleel Basha, Ladapa Mayor Suresh Babu, Dr. Sohail, Hafeezullah, Maaseema Babu, Ex Municipal Chairman Haridranath, ZPTC Member Shabbir Ali, and other YSRCP party activist.
