Bharatiya Janata Party Telangana Unit on Thursday alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is completely distressed after the debacle of TRS party in Dubbaka assembly byelection held recently.
Pooh-Poohing the statement of Mr chandrashekar Rao that he will launch an agitation against Narenda Modi government at the Centre, Senior BJP leader N V Subash said he is worried about the future of TRS after realizing that the people of the state had rejected the party in the bypoll.
He said TRS would meet the same fate in GHMC election which was announced in a hurry.
In a statement here, Mr Subash said instead of launching a nation-wide agitation, the Chief Minister should first concentrate on the development of Telangana and how to increase the living conditions of people.
The Senior BJP leader said the denizens had a miserable experience after the recent floods which played havoc and expressed concern that the government has failed to mitigate their problems.
Poor people particularly women have waited in long queues in front of Mee-Seva Centres to submit applications for flood relief of Rs 10,000, but the state government has stopped disbursement of the amount on the pretext of instructions from State Election Commission (SEC).
Mr Subash alleged that Chief Minister during the Telangana statehood movement gave hollow promises and never fulfilled and now he is trying to provoke people fearing defeat in the GHMC election.
Mr Rao is intolerant, insecure and shown his inability to estimate the strength of BJP and believed his inefficient cadre.
