Hyderabad, Oct 19: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Floor Leader in Assembly and Chandrayangutta MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi on Monday initiated distribution of Salar-E-Millat Relief Packages to the residents in the flood-affected areas under Chandrayangutta constituency.
As Hafeez Baba Nagar area was severely flooded after the Balapur Lake Katta was damaged, Akbaruddin Owaisi, who is also the Chairman of Salar-E-Millat Educational Trust, initiated the distribution of Salar-E-Millat Relief Packages, each of which includes bread, milk, mineral water, and various other essential items.
Owaisi subsequently visited the affected areas, interacted with the residents, and addressed their issues, while monitoring the distribution of relief packages.
Meanwhile, AIMIM Nampally MLA Jaffar Hussain Meraj along with Telangana Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav distributed ration kits among the residents of flood-affected areas of Redhills Division. They were accompanied by TRS MLC Prabhakar, Nampally MRO, Khairtabad GHMC Zonal Commissioner, and Redhills Numainda Corporator Abdul Subhan.
He also distributed mattresses and bedsheets to affected families in the Afzalsagar area under Mallepally Division. He, accompanied by GHMC Co-Option Member Mahmood Hussain, further inspected Ahmed Nagar division which is also affected by the rains.
AIMIM General Secretary and Yakhutpura MLA Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri accompanied by Rein Bazar Division Corporator Wajid Ali Khan distributed food packages to families affected due to heavy rains in the Imaam Bada and other areas of the Yakhutpura constituency.
Further, Malakpet MLA Ahmed Balala visited Grand Imperial Function Hall where a temporary relief camp has been set-up with around 140 families from Moosa Nagar, Kamal Nagar, Rasoolpura, and Vinayak Vedi areas which were several affected with floods.
He along with GHMC DMC, special teams, also inspected Padma Nagar, Azampura’ Moosi Nala, Malakpet Railway Station, Teegalaghoda, Afzal Nagar.
Bahadurpura MLA Mohammed Moazam Khan along with AIMIM Corporators too inspected flood-affected localities of Hashamabad under Bahadurpura Constituency.
