Hyderabad, Oct 9: The Telangana government has decided to hold a two-day brief session of Assembly from October 13 and convene a one-day session of Council on the next day.
The Assembly will meet at 1130 hours on next Tuesday, while the Council starts at 1100 hours on October 14, according to sources on Friday.
The Assembly is expected to take up the bill to amend the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act as suggested by the state High Court.
The Assembly may also consider other bills.
The bills introduced in the Assembly will also be tabled in the upper House on next Wednesday.
The state cabinet will meet at 1700 hours in Pragathi Bhavan on Saturday to discuss and approve the bills to be introduced in the Legislature.
